Winchester Speedway is proud to announce that Neal Metal Recycling & Processing will once again serve as the title sponsor of the Neal Metal Recycling & Processing Tom Bigelow Showdown, scheduled for Sunday, June 28. The event will feature the stars of the yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour competing on the historic high banks of Winchester Speedway.

Neal Metal Recycling & Processing, based in New Castle, Indiana, is a family-owned business operated by President Randy Neal and Vice President Scott Neal. Since its founding in 1973, the company has become one of Indiana's leading recycling operations while maintaining a strong commitment to supporting grassroots motorsports throughout the state.

The Tom Bigelow Showdown honors racing legend Tom Bigelow, one of the most accomplished drivers in history. Bigelow amassed 52 career USAC National Sprint Car victories, a record that stood as the most in series history for more than three decades. He captured the 1978 USAC National Sprint Car Championship. Bigelow also made nine Indianapolis 500 starts, with a career-best finish of sixth in the 1977 Indianapolis 500. His success on both the short tracks and the biggest stage in motorsports makes him one of most respected racing ambassadors.

The Tom Bigelow Showdown was introduced in 2025 and quickly established itself as one of the premier events on the yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour schedule. In the inaugural running, pavement sprint car standout Kody Swanson captured the victory after taking the lead on lap 21 and pulling away from the field for his first sprint car win at Winchester Speedway. The victory was Swanson's sixth career win with the Tour and came during a dominant weekend that also included a USAC Silver Crown victory. Swanson was joined in victory lane by Tom Bigelow following the historic first edition of the event.

Fans can expect a full afternoon of non-wing pavement sprint car racing as many of the nation's top drivers battle for victory on the world's fastest half-mile paved oval. The event will also feature HRA Late Model Sportsman and Thunder Roadsters, creating a packed day of racing action for fans attending Winchester Speedway.
