The Must See Racing Sprint Series Presented by Perfit-Parts season opener at Sandusky Speedway has been postponed to May 10-11.
The event, scheduled for April 26-27, has been postponed following excessive rainfall both in the past week and in the forecast for the coming days leading to the event.
"Unfortunately, excessive recent, current and predicted rain fall has completely saturated the facility grounds resulting in the probability that fan parking and pit areas will be unusable," said Must See Racing President Jim Hanks.
"This decision, while difficult and disappointing, is our genuine best effort to do the right thing for everyone involved. Whenever possible, we try to avoid unnecessary and avoidable lost time and travel expenses for our race teams, staff and valued fans."
The new event date will feature the Must See Racing Sprint Series, the Must See Racing Midwest Lights Series, the Ohio Wheelman Modified Series and Sandusky's All American Iron Racing Series.
Open Practice will take place on Friday, May 10, with racing on Saturday, May 11. General admission tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for veterans and children aged 6-12, with children aged five and under receiving free admission.
