500 Sprint Car Tour Event At Jennerstown Speedway Postponed

The yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour event at Jennerstown Speedway Complex scheduled for Saturday, July 11th has been postponed due to forecasted wet weather. At this time, a rescheduled date for the Pennsylvania 50 has not been determined. An announcement will come, in due time, if and when a rescheduled date is announced. The yourBIGplans.com 500 Sprint Car was set to be joined by Jennerstown Speedway Complex local divisions including Chargers, Fast 4’s, Late Models, Modifieds, Pro Stocks, and Street Stocks.

Tour and Track officials closely monitored the weather forecast throughout the week for Saturday’s event at Jennerstown. Unfortunately, forecasts continued to worsen, with increasing chances of rain and thunderstorms expected during race hours. Officials also factored in the great distances that many teams would be driving to be able to compete this weekend. Due to increasing operating and traveling expenses, it was determined that a decision would be made early to save teams on their expenses for the weekend. In the interest of safety for competitors, teams, officials, and fans, officials determined that weather conditions would not allow for a successful race program.

The yourBigplans.com 500 Sprint Car Tour will be back in racing action on Saturday, August 1st when the series returns to Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan. The series visited the historic Michigan 3/8 mile in 2025 when Tyler Roahrig went to victory lane in the inaugural event for the 500 Sprint Car Tour at Owosso. Roahrig won each of the three events contested in Michigan last season, and has dominated the Tour events in the state of Michigan since the series inception in 2022.
