Miss Snowball Derby Pageant, Derby Preview One Month Away

One month remains until the Road to the 54th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway grabs another gear, with a busy weekend on and off the track in Pensacola, Florida.

The weekend begins on Friday, November 19 with a growing staple of the Snowball Derby festivities, the Miss Snowball Derby Pageant. The Pageant will once again be held in downtown Pensacola at Seville Quarters, taking place at 7:00 p.m. CT.

Thanks to Fast Cash ATM, the top three finishers in this year’s Miss Snowball Derby pageant will receive cash prizes. The winner of the pageant will receive $1,000. The first runner-up will receive $300, while second runner-up will receive $200.

Miss Snowball Derby’s responsibilities include representing Five Flags Speedway at as many Snowball Derby functions as possible, as well as being present for all victory lane photos, pre-race ceremonies and fan activities throughout the 54th Annual Snowball Derby.

No talent or pageant experience is necessary to enter the Miss Snowball Derby Pageant. Winning contestants will reign for the term of one year by making personal appearances, together and as a group, representing Five Flags Speedway.

Meanwhile, race teams across all divisions competing during the 54th Annual Snowball Derby weekend will be able to take advantage of the Snowball Derby Preview on Saturday, November 20, an open practice session that will even pay a bonus to the fast time in each division during the final hours of the session.

The fastest Super Late Model competitor will receive $500, while the fastest Pro Late Model team will take home a $300 bonus. $200 bonuses will be on the line for the fastest drivers among the Outlaws, Sportsmen, Pro Trucks, Modifieds and Pure Stocks during the Snowball Derby Preview.

The weekend will only serve to increase anticipation ahead of the 54th Annual Snowball Derby, taking place on December 2-5 at Five Flags Speedway. The marquee event is headlined by the biggest race in Super Late Model competition, the Snowball Derby.
