When this year's Snowball Derby champion is crowned at Five Flags Speedway, the fortunate driver will be greeted in victory lane by another racer ... who will just happen to be Miss Snowball Derby.

Maddison Bragg of Enterprise, Alabama won Friday night's Miss Snowball Derby pageant at Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola, Florida, receiving the crown, sash and other accolades and prizes that come with the honor. As part of her duties for the next year, Bragg will represent Five Flags Speedway at the 54th Annual Snowball Derby presented by Hooters.

Of course, Bragg is very familiar with Five Flags, even racing there as recently as this season in the Pro Truck division. She is excited to represent the venue during the biggest pavement Super Late Model event of the year as both a competitor and Miss Snowball Derby.

"It really means a lot," said Bragg. "I can be a representative for all these young girls who want to be both. I have lived the dream, honestly. I've been a beauty queen and a race car driver. They're both something I'm very passionate about. I want to be a mentor for those younger girls who want to get into pageantry along with racing.

"Racing is so important to me and so important to my family. Being an advocate for something so big is so heartwarming. I am so thankful for it."

A weekend building up to the 54th Annual Snowball Derby continues on Saturday at Five Flags Speedway with the Snowball Derby Preview. The Preview serves as an open test for teams across all divisions competing during the event on December 2-5, with payouts awarded to the fastest driver in each division during the final round of practice.
