Earlier this week, Kaylee Jordan was not even entered for the Miss Snowball Derby Pageant. On Friday night in Pensacola, Florida, she was wearing the crown.
Jordan was a late entrant into the Miss Snowball Derby Pageant, joining the pool on Thursday. Jordan, from Saraland, Alabama, was named Miss Snowball Derby 2022 from a group of 18 contestants at Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola on Friday evening. She will serve as Miss Snowball Derby for the next year, starting with the Snowball Derby in just two weeks’ time on December 1-4.
“This means so much to me, to be able to represent the Snowball Derby this year,” said Jordan. “I am so humble and grateful that I get to represent this amazing community and to do something and be a part of something that I have loved for years.”
The pageant featured contestants in evening wear, and also fun fashion. Along with the title of Miss Snowball Derby, Jordan will receive a $1,000 cash prize and a piece of fine jewelry from Jewelers Trade Shop.
First runner-up in the pageant was Ansli Brown of Pensacola, while second runner-up was Gabby Locke, also from Pensacola.
Bridget Massengill was named Miss Congeniality of the pageant, while Most Photogenic was awarded to Berkley Harp.
Jordan succeeds Maddison Bragg, also from Alabama, as Miss Snowball Derby.
