Dave Moody Joins Racing America Snowball Derby Broadcast Team
The longtime motorsports broadcaster will be in the booth for Racing America's coverage on Saturday and Sunday, December 3-4.
Race fans watching this year’s 55th Annual Snowball Derby presented by Hooters from Five Flags Speedway on Sunday will hear a familiar voice during the Super Late Model showcase.

Longtime motorsports commentator Dave Moody will be in the booth for Racing America’s broadcast of the Snowball Derby on Sunday, December 4. He will also in the booth for Racing America’s coverage of the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 for Pro Late Models on Saturday, December 3.
Moody has been a regular part of the Motor Racing Network lineup of announcers since 1998. He is currently the lead turn announcer for MRN’s broadcasts of the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Moody is also the host of motorsports talk show “SiriusXM Speedway” on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
Moody will be joined in the booth by Alan Dietz and Adam Mackey for Racing America’s coverage on Saturday and Sunday from Five Flags Speedway. Eric Huenefeld and Ryan McCollough will be reporting from pit road.
Saturday, December 3 features the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 for Pro Late Model competitors, with nearly 40 cars already entered for that event. Five Flags’ Outlaw division will also be in action for 50 laps to close out Saturday night. Saturday also boasts the action-packed Snowball Derby Last Chance Qualifier, which completes the field for the Derby.
Sunday, December 4 is the main event of the week, the 55th Annual Snowball Derby. The best Super Late Model drivers in the land will battle for 300 laps to see who lifts the Tom Dawson Trophy and joins the historic list of Snowball Derby winners.
