The Vores Compact Touring Series has released its 2023 schedule, featuring 14 races at eight tracks.
The season begins on April 2nd with Cabin Fever at Shadybowl Speedway. Shadybowl will also host the 6th Annual Bowl Classic on May 7th.
The Vores Compacts will visit Anderson Speedway three times during the 2023 season. The first race will be on April 15, in conjunction with the CRA Sportsman and CRA Street Stocks. They'll return on August 12 and September 16, with the September 16 event boasting a 100-lap feature for the Vores Compacts.
Winchester Speedway will also host a trio of Vores Compact races. The first will be on May 20-21, along with traditional dates on September 2 as part of the World Stock Car Festival and October 13 during Winchester 400 weekend.
The 2023 schedule boasts two new venues for the Vores Compact Touring Series. On June 17-18, the series will join what has become a Father's Day weekend tradition for the ASA Midwest Tour at The Milwaukee Mile. On July 29, the Vores Compacts will pay their first visit to Michigan's Flat Rock Speedway. Between those two events, the Vores Cup will take place on July 8 at Angola Motorsport Speedway.
Following the Flat Rock debut and the August 12 event at Anderson, the Vores Compact Touring Series will make its third visit to Ona Speedway in West Virginia for the Fly By 40.
The Vores Compact Touring Series crowns its champion during Winchester 400 weekend, but they'll have another non-points race following that. The series will once again take part in All American 400 weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on November 4.
There is also a date tentatively planned on September 30, at a venue to be announced later. The full schedule can be viewed below.
The Vores Compact Touring Series enters its 13th season of competition in 2023. Last year, Chris Jennings earned his third series championship, matching his effort in 2013 and 2016.
