More Than 30 Cars Entered for UARA Sportsman at Cordele on Memorial Day Weekend

Cordele Motor Speedway will celebrate Memorial Day weekend with the return of the UARA Sportsman Series to the Georgia facility. More than 30 teams have submitted entries for the event, making it one fans won’t want to miss.

Currently, 31 cars are on the entry list for the 75-lap UARA Sportsman feature on Saturday, May 25.

The Florida-based series made its first-ever trip out of the Sunshine State to Cordele Motor Speedway in 2019, when Patrick Thomas scored the victory. The UARA Sportsman Series has not returned to Cordele since that night, adding to the anticipation for the event.

After two races this season, Dylan Bigley and Brandon Morris are tied for the points lead. Anthony Cataldi won the season opener during Hardee’s Rattler 250 weekend at South Alabama Speedway, while Tim Sozio won at Auburndale Speedway in April.

The full entry list for the event can be viewed below.

Cordele’s Crown Vic, Mini Stock, Enduro, Pure Stock, Legend and Bandolero Divisions will also be in action on Saturday, May 25. Grandstands open at 3 p.m. ET, and qualifying will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET.
