Following an exciting call this week, Jean and Jane LeBlanc have pledged to bump all Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Model events to a $500-to-win purse at White Mountain Motorsports Park in 2024. The popular four-cylinder division has found a part-time home at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track and shows growth this season with two former Strictly Mini champions moving up to tackle the new challenge.
With the LeBlanc’s pledge, seven of the eight Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Model events at White Mountain will now pay a $500 winner's share. That, along with the annual Mini Late Model Special on June 1st paying $1,000 to the winner, could mean a lucrative $4,500 pay-day this summer, not including the championship point fund!
“Jane and I have been involved in motorsports for many years now, in several different capacities,” said Jean LeBlanc on Monday. “It’s just our way of trying to keep this great division going. The Mini Late Models are so fun, kids can relate to them because it’s what they’re driving out on the street and guys like Kristian (Switser) and Chris (Moulton) are taking their Strictly’s and tuning them up to join us. I think it’s going to be a fun summer!”
The Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models return to White Mountain Motorsports Park for a third-consecutive season in 2024 with eight events in a part-time schedule at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track and it all starts on HK Powersports Opening Day, Saturday, May 18! The Mini Late Models join with the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division with the R&R Street Stock Open Series also joining the fun!
Opening weekend also features the Pro All Stars Series spectacular on Sunday, May 19 that includes the first leg of the all-new ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series and the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown for the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers plus the lightning-fast New England Supermodified Series and the Kennebec Equipment Sales PASS Modifieds!
