Kyle Larson won the Xfinity Fastest Lap award for the AdventHealth 400 as part of a perfect Sunday at Kansas Speedway.

Larson clocked in at 30.288 seconds on the second lap of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series event at Kansas, a lap time which held up as the fastest of the 400-mile race. That earned the California driver the Xfinity Fastest Lap award, and the bonus point that accompanies it in the championship standings.

With that, Larson became the first driver to earn maximum points since the introduction of the Xfinity Fastest Lap Award this season. Along with winning Sunday's race, he swept the stages and earned the Fastest Lap Award for a total of 61 points.

This is Larson's second Xfinity Fastest Lap award during the NASCAR Cup Series season. He also won the award at Circuit of The Americas earlier this year.

In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Heart of Health Care 200 at Kansas, Carson Hocevar won both the race and the Xfinity Fastest Lap Award.

Hocevar's lap of 31.081 seconds was just 0.001 seconds quicker than Corey Heim's fastest lap of Friday's race, earning him the Fastest Lap Award. While Hocevar is not earning championship driver points for the Craftsman Truck Series, Hocevar earned the Fastest Lap point for the No. 7 Spire Motorsports team in the owner standings for the second straight week.

Layne Riggs had set a matching lap time of 31.081 seconds during Friday's race, but the tiebreaker went to Hocevar based on his finishing position. Hocevar finished first, while Riggs crossed the line second. However, Riggs was disqualified following post-race technical inspection, striking his second-place finish and lap time from the record.

Only one points-paying Xfinity Fastest Lap Award will be up for grabs next weekend. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competes on Saturday, May 17 at North Wilkesboro Speedway in the Window World 250.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series has the weekend off, while the NASCAR Cup Series takes part in the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro on Sunday, May 18.
