Erik Jones, and the No. 43 LEGACY MOTOR CLUB team will carry a new look on their Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 race car this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway as the Vs. Everybody fashion brand will partner with the team as the primary sponsor.

The No. 43 machine will be turned silver, and the car will feature navy bue accents. The hood of Jones' car will feature the Dallas Vs. Everybody brand.

Jones is a Byron, Michigan native, so it's a little odd seeing Dallas Vs. Everybody on the hood of his car, but Jones takes pride in the partnership as the overall Vs. Everybody Brand was spawned in Michigan.

"We are excited to welcome Vs. Everybody® on board as our primary partner this weekend," said Jones in a team press release. "The brand was created out of pride for the city of Detroit, which means a lot to me personally. Being from Michigan, and being a fan of the Lions, I have a Detroit Vs. Everybody® shirt, and it's cool to introduce this brand into the Dallas market. Tying it to my foundation makes it even more special."

The team has apparently been working on finding the right race to launch its partnership with the brand, and the Texas market proved to be the right market to go all-in with it.

“It's nice to see this partnership finally come to fruition,” said Jimmie Johnson, co-owner of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. “We’ve been working on this since the spring to find the right opportunity to go to market and promote the brand. It’s really a unique partnership and opportunity for the team to have some visibility in the lifestyle space and provide fans of all sports in each town with some attention-grabbing apparel to show their pride.”

This sponsorship will mark the first for the Vs. Everybody brand in the world of NASCAR, a brand which has seen wide-ranging exposure on shows like The Colbert Report, and American Idol, and has seen it's influence stretch into sports, news, and entertainment.

"This collaboration with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB to bring Dallas Vs. Everybody® to life at Texas Motor Speedway is more than just introducing a new brand to a city; it's about championing the spirit of a city and its people,” Walker said. “We're here to remind everyone that Dallas, just like Detroit, is a force to be reckoned with.”

The partnership comes at a perfect time for Jones, and the No. 43 team, as LEGACY MOTOR CLUB has been putting out rocket ships on the race track as of late.

Jones ran inside the top-five for a good portion of the Cook Out Southern 500 a few weeks ago before settling for a 10th-place finish, and he followed that up with a solid third-place effort at Kansas Speedway the following week.

This past weekend, Jones was again running inside the top-10, when an issue out of his control relegated him to a 24th-place finish.

Jones has some momentum, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is showing overall strength. Maybe LEGACY MOTOR CLUB can score a win on Sunday Vs. Everybody.
