Trackhouse Racing has added two more NASCAR Cup Series races for Connor Zilisch in the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet.

Trackhouse announced Thursday that Zilisch will compete at EchoPark Speedway on June 28 and at Watkins Glen International on August 10.

“It’s awesome to have the opportunity to race two more times in the NASCAR Cup Series,” said Zilisch. “Nothing beats experience in this sport especially at the Cup level. Thanks to everyone at Red Bull and Trackhouse for this opportunity.”

The 18-year-old driver has made two prior NASCAR Cup Series starts this season. His debut took place on the road course at Circuit of The Americas, where Zilisch showed pace but finished 37th after being collected in a mid-race incident.

Zilisch’s second appearance came in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Zilisch finished 23rd in his first attempt at the longest race of the NASCAR Cup Series season.

Darian Grubb will once again serve as crew chief for Zilisch, as he did at both COTA and Charlotte.

The Trackhouse Racing development driver is competing full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with JR Motorsports in 2025. He is currently fifth in series standings, including a win at COTA and three pole positions.

The young star stormed onto the scene last year with a range of accomplishments. The Charlotte, North Carolina native won in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Watkins Glen, claimed two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole positions, and won four ARCA Menards Series races as well as a zMAX CARS Tour race.

His accomplishments also carried over to sports car racing, with an incredible 2024 campaign that included wins in both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Red Bull will once again sponsor the No. 87 Trackhouse Racing entry. Red Bull is Trackhouse Racing’s official energy drink and a primary partner on Shane van Gisbergen’s No. 88 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series.
