TD Bank Joins Spire Motorsports as Associate Sponsor For Corey LaJoie in Coca-Cola 600

TD Bank and Spire Motorsports have reached an agreement for a new associate sponsorship, which will allow "America’s Most Convenient Bank^®" to promote the opening of six TD Bank retail locations in the Charlotte, NC area.

The well-known banking company will have its familiar green and white logo added to Corey LaJoie's No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“NASCAR is a huge part of the community here in Charlotte,” said Hugh Allen, Regional President of the Mid-South Metro, TD Bank. “What better way to celebrate our first retail location than by teaming up with Spire Motorsports and Corey LaJoie for the iconic Coca-Cola 600. We’re excited to introduce our unexpectedly human brand to the Charlotte area and look forward to seeing some TD Green on the racetrack later this month.”

The first Charlotte-area TD Bank location, located at 6611 Carmel Road, will open on Friday, May 12th and will feature a two-day community celebration with an appearance from LaJoie and a special TD Bank-sponsored No. 7 Spire Motorsports show car beginning at 9:00 AM ET on May 12th.

For LaJoie, he feels great honor in introducing the TD Bank brand on such an important weekend.

“The Coca-Cola 600 is a crown jewel on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule each season,” said LaJoie. “Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway is a piece of Americana like no other. From the moment you step onto the property, you can feel the patriotism. Honoring American heroes who have sacrificed their lives for this country is the recurring theme of the race, and it feels more impactful every year.

LaJoie, 31, has enjoyed an excellent start to the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season with Spire Motorsports. LaJoie scored his career-best finish of fourth at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the fifth race of the season, and the North Carolina native has four top-15 finishes and seven top-20s through the opening 12 races of the season.

LaJoie, who has never finished higher than 29th in the NASCAR Cup Series point standings, finds himself 22nd in the rankings, currently.

Catch LaJoie and the No. 7 Spire Motorsports AeroVanti Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which will carry associate branding from TD Bank, on track in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 28th. The crown jewel event will be televised on FOX beginning at 6 PM ET. The Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry the radio broadcast of the event.
