Starting Lineup: NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500 at Martinsville

William Byron will lead the field to the green flag in his bid to reach the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 in Sunday's Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway.

Byron qualified on the pole for the final race in the Round of 8 with a time of 19.286 seconds around the 0.526-mile Martinsville Speedway. Ty Gibbs joins him on the front row after a second-place qualifying effort.

Playoff drivers filled out the rest of the top five. Kyle Larson and Joey Logano start on the second row, while Denny Hamlin will start fifth in search of a seventh Martinsville victory.

Hamlin and Chase Briscoe are locked into the Championship 4 for next week's NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway. Two more spots remain to be filled over the course of 500 laps at Martinsville on Sunday.

The green flag waves on the Xfinity 500 at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 26. Coverage of the event will be available on NBC, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
