Joey Logano earned his first pole position of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, setting fast time during qualifying at Phoenix Raceway for Sunday's Straight Talk Wireless 500.

Logano earned his 34th career NASCAR Cup Series pole, and his third at the one-mile facility in Avondale, Arizona. He clocked in at 26.561 seconds to earn the award.

It also gives Team Penske a second pole award on the weekend at Phoenix, as David Malukas qualified on the pole for Saturday's NTT IndyCar Series event.

Logano is joined on the front row by Kyle Larson, who claimed the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series championship in the series' last visit to Phoenix.

Logano's teammates, Austin Cindric and Ryan Blaney, qualified third and fifth, respectively. Daniel Suarez was fourth-fastest and will line up on the outside of the second row.

Brad Keselowski was one of a handful of drivers who experienced tire issues during practice prior to the qualifying session. Keselowski made significant contact with the wall following his tire failure, and will go to a backup car for Sunday's race. He was unable to set a time during qualifying as his team began preparations for the backup car.

Sunday's Straight Talk Wireless 500 takes the green flag at 3:30 p.m. ET. Coverage of the race will be available on FS1, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
