Starting Lineup: 2026 NASCAR Cup Series Daytona 500

The field of 41 is set for the 68th Annual Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

Kyle Busch will lead the field to the green flag in the 2026 edition of "The Great American Race." Busch qualified on the pole on Wednesday night, earning his first pole position in the Daytona 500 in his 21st attempt at the race. Chase Briscoe locked his place on the front row by qualifying second on Wednesday.

Joey Logano and Chase Elliott won Thursday's Duels at Daytona, placing them third and fourth in the starting lineup for the Daytona 500. The remainder of the field was determined by finishing placement in those Duels.

During Wednesday's qualifying, Corey Heim and Justin Allgaier secured their spots in the grid as the two fastest Open competitors during the qualifying session. Casey Mears and B.J. McLeod had to wait until Thursday in the Duels to earn their spots in the Daytona 500 as the highest finishing Open competitor in their respective Duels. Jimmie Johnson was ensured his spot in the Daytona 500 by virtue of the Open Exemption Provisional.

The Daytona 500 takes the green flag on Sunday, February 15 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Coverage of the event will be on FOX, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
