On Friday, NASCAR announced the decision to advance the start time of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series event at Dover Motor Speedway by an hour, moving the race from its original 2:00pm ET start time, to a 1:00pm ET slot.
The decision comes as a result of inclement weather forecasted for the Dover, Delaware area on Sunday, April 30, which is set to coincide with the on and off-track activities scheduled ahead of the 11th NASCAR Cup Series event of 2022.
FOX Sports 1 (FS1), PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will continue to provide coverage for Sunday's Würth 400 at the one-mile concrete oval, but will each have their respective scheduled moved up an hour.
NASCAR RaceDay will still air on FS1, but will be shown at Noon ET. Then, broadcast coverage of the event will begin at 1:00pm ET, with the green flag for the Würth 400 scheduled to fly at approximately 1:11pm ET.
As of Friday, April 28 at 12:30pm ET, all on-track activity for the NASCAR Cup Series is still scheduled to occur, with practice and qualifying scheduled to take place on Saturday. Additional updates will be provided on those sessions, as they become available.
