Race Results: NASCAR Cup Series South Point 400 at Las Vegas

Denny Hamlin scored the 60th win of his NASCAR Cup Series career and punched his ticket into the Championship 4, winning the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Hamlin took the lead from Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Chase Briscoe with four laps to go, rocketing to the lead as the sun began to set in Las Vegas. He'd cross the line 1.5 seconds ahead of Kyle Larson for a win that guarantees him a spot in the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway in November.

The win ties him with Kevin Harvick for 10th all-time on the career Cup Series win list.

Larson finished second, followed by Christopher Bell, Briscoe and Tyler Reddick. Joey Logano, Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, Ryan Preece and Brad Keselowski rounded out the top 10.

The next stop for the NASCAR Cup Series is Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, October 19 for the YellaWood 500. Coverage of the event will be available on NBC, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
