Kaulig Racing Promotes Chris Rice to Chief Executive Officer

Chase Elliott stormed to a last-lap win at Kansas Speedway, passing Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace in the final corner to win the Hollywood Casino 400.
Elliott snagged the lead on the final lap, as Wallace and Hamlin battled for the lead in the closing laps. Both Hamlin and Wallace were seeking wins to move on to the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
As those two drivers made contact and washed up the racetrack in turns three and four, Elliott passed them both to the inside, crossing the line 0.069 seconds ahead of Hamlin to secure the win and his own berth in the next round of the playoffs.
Christopher Bell finished third, followed by Chase Briscoe. Wallace fell to fifth on the final lap.
One race remains in the Round of 12 following the Hollywood Casino 400. Next Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series tackles the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
