Race Results: NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 at Richmond

Austin Dillon punched his ticket to the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, winning at Richmond Raceway in the Cook Out 400.

Dillon is now a back-to-back winner at the Virginia .75-mile facility. This time, there was no last-lap drama, as Dillon crossed the finish line 2.471 seconds ahead of Alex Bowman.

The Team Penske trio rounded out the top five, with Ryan Blaney finishing third, followed by Joey Logano and Austin Cindric.

The next event for the NASCAR Cup Series is the regular season finale, the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. The green flag waves at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, August 23, with coverage on NBC, the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
