William Byron used a late-race restart to take the lead for the final six laps of Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway, earning the 300th NASCAR Cup Series win for Hendrick Motorsports and punching his ticket to the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Playoffs.
Ross Chastain started the second round of the Playoffs with a second-place run in the No. 1 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet, leading one for one lap. Pole-sitter Bubba Wallace led the most laps of the day, putting the No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota out front five times for 111 laps. Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Christopher Bell and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.
