On Tuesday, Trackhouse Racing and Quaker State announced the expansion of a primary sponsorship partnership and technical alliance, which began during the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season.

In 2024, not only will Quaker State serve as the primary sponsorship partner for Daniel Suárez and the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing team in four NASCAR Cup Series events, beginning with the Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum, but the iconic engine lubricant brand will also serve as the primary sponsor for Suárez in the NASCAR Mexico Series event at the Coliseum, as well.

Suárez, who cut his teeth in the NASCAR Mexico Series ranks as he scored 10 wins prior to moving to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2015, is elated to get the chance to run in the series for a one-off event in 2024.

“I never thought I would have the opportunity to race in the Mexico Series again,” said Suárez in a Trackhouse team release. “There are a ton of people who helped me in my career still involved in the series so it will be cool to go back and race with them. NASCAR’s Mexico Series is a great place to learn and over time I think will start producing drivers who will come to America. I cannot thank Quaker State and NASCAR enough for making this opportunity possible.”

In addition to the Busch Light Clash, Quaker State will serve as the primary sponsor for Suárez and the No. 99 team in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Richmond Raceway in March, Darlington Raceway in May, and the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in September.

In addition to the primary sponsorship of Suárez, Quaker State will have its branding showcased on every firesuit and car within the Trackhouse Racing stable in 2024.

“We are honored to continue our relationship with Quaker State and take pride they are one of Trackhouse’s strongest supporters," said team founder and owner Justin Marks. "Not only is Quaker State a good partner on the business side but the expertise they bring to our team when it comes to oils and lubricants that go in our race cars every race gives us an advantage on the track."

Trackhouse Racing has the driving talent, and ownership structure that makes it the perfect fit for Quaker State.

“We are extremely happy to announce an increased alliance with Trackhouse Racing in 2024 and the addition of the NASCAR Mexico Series race with Daniel,” said Bree Sandlin, Vice President, Shell Lubricants North America Marketing.

“Trackhouse is a championship-contending team with talented drivers Daniel Suárez, Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen and is stewarded by a fantastic ownership tandem in Justin Marks and Pitbull. This is the perfect match with the energy Trackhouse brings to the sport and Quaker State’s legacy of winning motorsports moments and strong heritage in the Mexico market.”

Suárez, as previously announced, will have a new crew chief in Matt Swiderski for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Suárez came up just shy of his second-consecutive NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs berth in 2023. He'll look to rebound as he chases his first NASCAR Cup Series title in 2024.
