Points Report: United Rentals Work United 500 at Phoenix Raceway

Alex Bowman leads the NASCAR Cup Series driver point standings following Sunday's race at Phoenix Raceway. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet's ninth-place finish in the United Rentals Work United 500 was enough to gain him one spot to take the lead in the standings.

Kevin Harvick was also able to gain one position to move into second in the driver points, while Ross Chastain dropped two spots after tangling with Denny Hamlin on the final lap.

Hendrick Motorsports' strong start to the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season continued on Sunday in Phoenix, with Byron scoring the victory and all four cars finishing in the top 10.
