The NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway has been postponed to Monday, May 1st at Noon ET due to relentless weather in the area.

As for the starting lineup, it was set by the NASCAR Metric Formula, which is a weighted average of several performance factors, due to rain washing out qualifying on Saturday.

The NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover was originally scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, but NASCAR had adjusted the start time of the event to 1:00 PM ET in hopes that a window in the weather could be found to get the race in.

By 10:30 AM ET on Sunday, it was quite apparent that no window would be coming as there was no end in sight to the rain on the radar at Dover Motor Speedway.
