NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Standings After Kansas

With Chase Elliott's win at Kansas Speedway in the Hollywood Casino 400, he joined Ryan Blaney in the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. Only one race remains before finding out who will join them.

Elliott and Blaney, who won at New Hampshire Motor Speedway one week ago, have secured spots in the next round of the Playoffs with their wins during the Round of 12. Six more drivers will join them in the next round of the playoffs, and that field will be set following the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The field of playoff drivers hopes to move to the Round of 8 with a win at the ROVAL - which, of course, will require snapping Shane van Gisbergen's streak of dominance on the road courses in 2025.

For everyone else, it will be a matter of jockeying ahead of the cutoff to advance on points. Despite a chaotic race at Kansas, there was not much movement around the bubble.

Ross Chastain, Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick and Austin Cindric remain the four drivers sitting outside the Round of 8 following the Hollywood Casino 400. While Wallace moved from 12th to 10th in the points standings with a top-five finish, he still remains 26 points below the cutoff, just one point improved from a week ago.

Chastain actually lost a point on the cutoff despite an 11th-place finish, and remains ninth. Reddick is now 11th in points, 29 points astray, with Cindric 12th in points after a 30th-place finish.

Kyle Larson holds the most points among drivers without a win in the Round of 12. Joey Logano sits eighth as the driver closest to the cutoff line.
