Lucas Oil Products is set to expand upon its relationship with Richard Childress Racing and two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, the company officially announced on Tuesday.

As part of the newfound agreement, the Indianapolis, Indiana-based corporation will serve as a multi-race primary sponsor of the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Cup Series for 2024, while also supporting the non-NASCAR programs of both Kyle and Brexton Busch.

The company will be displayed in a prominent position when the NASCAR Cup Series star competes in the Micro Sprint car series, starting with the Tulsa Shootout on December 26.

Earlier this season, Lucas Oil was the primary sponsor on the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro with the Las Vegas, Nevada-native scored his first victory with Richard Childress Racing at NASCAR's top level.

The victory served as a major landmark for both Richard Childress Racing and its long-time partner Lucas Oil, as the company visited Victory Lane for the first time as a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series.

“RCR and ECR share our passion for motorsports, from the grassroots to the highest level of the sport,” said Brandon Bernstein, director of partnership marketing for Lucas Oil Products. “We share Kyle’s passion for short track racing and are excited to help Brexton take the next step in his career. We’ve seen first-hand the benefits of our partnership, especially as it relates to technology transfer over to short track racers and everyday consumers. We’re proud to continue to commit our resources in R&D and production, and to highlight our premier oil performance with sponsorship of the No. 8 Chevrolet.”

Lucas Oil has served as the official lubricant for RCR and ECR Engines since 2014, and also serves as the official motor oil of ECR Engines. RCR, ECR, and Lucas Oil have scored more than 20 wins throughout their decade-long partnership.

“RCR and ECR have benefited greatly from having a lubricants partner with strong roots in racing,” said Torrey Galida, president of RCR. “It was incredibly gratifying to see the No. 8 Lucas Oil Chevrolet in Victory Lane. It was a testament to all of the resources, expertise, and hard work the Lucas/ECR team has committed to giving us a huge competitive advantage.”

The exact schedule of events in which Lucas Oil will adorn the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro has yet to be determined, or announced by Richard Childress Racing.
