Liberty University Reveals 2024 Sponsorship Schedule for William Byron, Hendrick Motorsports
The long-time partner of William Byron will serve as a primary sponsor for 12 NASCAR Cup Series events in 2024, beginning with the Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Liberty University, a long-time partner of Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron, has revealed its 12-race sponsorship calendar for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
The institution, which has been a major partner of Byron for more than a decade, will debut its sponsorship program on the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro with the season-opening Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum on February 4.
In doing so, the blue, red, and white colors of Liberty University will remain on the Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet in 2024, with the exact same paint scheme that the Charlotte, North Carolina-native ran 13 times last season.
Byron, a 10-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series will carry the colors of Liberty University several more times throughout the season, at Bristol (March 17), Richmond (March 31), Texas (April 14), Talladega (April 21), Dover (April 28), Charlotte (May 26), Iowa (June 16), Daytona (August 24), Darlington (September 1), Watkins Glen (September 15), and Martinsville (November 3).
At 26 years old, Byron enters his seventh season of full-time competition in the NASCAR Cup Series, after a breakout season that saw him score a series-high six wins and finish third in final point standings, behind Kyle Larson and eventual champion Ryan Blaney.
The Hendrick Motorsports driver is also actively pursuing a B.S. in Strategic Communication through Liberty University’s Online Programs, while also balancing the day-to-day responsibilities of competing for the winningest organization in the history of the NASCAR Cup Series.
