Hertz to Sponsor John Hunter Nemechek, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB at Dover

LEGACY MOTOR CLUB announced Tuesday that Hertz will serve as the primary sponsor for John Hunter Nemechek’s No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE when the NASCAR Cup Series visits Dover Motor Speedway on July 20.

The sponsorship is part of an ongoing and evolving partnership between LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and team co-owner Knighthead Capital Management, LLC., on behalf of its investors, which also co-owns Cadillac Hertz TEAM JOTA. Cadillac Hertz TEAM JOTA fields the No. 12 and No. 38 Cadillacs in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The Hertz livery makes its return to NASCAR at “The Monster Mile,” with Hertz Car Sales featured prominently on the racecar. Hertz Car Sales offers thousands of vehicles at more than 40 locations nationwide.

The sponsorship across both NASCAR and WEC, backed by Knighthead, is part of a global approach to brand visibility for Hertz.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 20. The green flag waves at 2 p.m. ET, with coverage on TNT, the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM.
