Global Industrial Company, a multi-year sponsor of Austin Hill in the NASCAR Xfinity Series program of Richard Childress Racing, is further expanding its sponsorship reach for the 2024 NASCAR season.

In addition to returning as a multi-race primary sponsor for Austin Hill in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Global Industrial will make its sponsorship debut in the NASCAR Cup Series with Kyle Busch and the No. 8 Camaro.

The partnership, which began in 2021, has allowed Global Industrial to build a strong foundation amongst the NASCAR fan base, with the company visiting Victory Lane twice in 2023 as a primary sponsor, at the hands of championship contender Austin Hill.

One of the highlights of the ongoing relationship came last year when Austin Hill scored the victory at the company's home track of Pocono Raceway, with the names of 1,6000 associates on the hood and 150 guests in attendance for the event.

“We are excited to partner with Richard Childress Racing and Austin Hill for another season of NASCAR racing action,” said Alex Tomey, Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. “It has been an incredible experience to be part of the RCR platform, which has allowed us to highlight the products and solutions we offer, and strengthen relationships with our associates, customers, and vendor partners. Austin has been an exceptional ambassador for the Global Industrial brand, and we look forward to expanding our relationship as we team up with Kyle Busch for our first-ever NASCAR Cup Series race in 2024.”

Based in Port Washington, New York, Global Industrial is a value-added distributor of a wide range of industrial and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products to customers in the United States and Canada.

Established in 1949 by Michael and Paul Leeds as a material handling company, Global Industrial is an industry leader with hundreds of thousands of products. For 75 years, Global Industrial has been leading the charge, helping customers solve problems and provide the products needed to run their businesses and facilities, including the tools that help power RCR to success.

“We are grateful for our partnership with Global Industrial to continue on a path of growth and to welcome them into the Cup Series,” said Torrey Galida, President of RCR. “Witnessing Austin win two races last season in their primary scheme and seeing the excitement of their associates and customers in victory lane was a great way to cap off year two of the program. Global Industrial has done an excellent job of utilizing Austin for employee events and as a spokesperson at their national trade show. 2024 should be even more exciting as Kyle joins the Global Industrial family.”

Richard Childress Racing will continue to assist Global Industrial with strategic content, and marketing and communications support, while the company leverages the partnership to create VIP experiences for customers at the track.
