On Friday morning Trackhouse Racing and Freeway Insurance announced an expansion of their primary sponsorship partnership of Daniel Suárez and the No. 99 team for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

The brand has a goal to ensure everyone knows low-cost car insurance is available to people who need it, and it will serve as the primary sponsor of Suárez in 12 events next season.

According to a press release from the team, Freeway Insurance will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the season-opening Daytona 500 on February 18th.

Freeway Insurance says that Suárez has been a perfect representative for the company's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

“We value our partnership with Trackhouse and Daniel Suárez who has become a powerful ambassador of our Freeway brand and an influential voice in our own diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Daniel’s story inspires us and deeply connects to the daily lives and goals of our Hispanic customers,” said Cesar Soriano, Chief Executive Officer of Freeway Insurance, the largest auto insurance and personal lines distribution company in the United States.

“Thousands of race fans have met Daniel at Freeway Insurance stores across the country and we want him to meet and share his story with even more in 2024. He has been part of our national advertising initiatives and has taken us to new customers. We want to continue with that effort and scale our presence in NASCAR so when you see the No. 99 racing by you immediately think of Freeway Insurance.”

The 31-year-old driver, who scored his first-career NASCAR Cup Series win a season ago at Sonoma, says the Freeway Insurance brand has been a great ally on his path to achieving his goals in the sport.

“Freeway Insurance has been there for me just like it’s been there for thousands of customers who rely on the brand for affordable insurance solutions, and I’m excited to continue our relationship,” Suárez said. “I take great pride in having the Freeway Insurance name on our cars and hope to make them and our NASCAR fans proud next year.”

Since moving to the upstart Trackhouse Racing team in 2021, Suárez has enjoyed a career resurgence.

The native of Monterrey, Mexico has one win, 10 top-fives, and 27 top-10 finishes in his 105 starts in the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro. When the Trackhouse Racing team was founded, Suárez was the driver that helped the team usher in its first season.

In 2022, the team purchased the Chip Ganassi Racing NASCAR Cup Series team, and expanded to two cars. Ross Chastain was added as the teammate for Suárez.

While Suárez narrowly missed the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs this season, he'll look to rejoin the championship fight in 2024.
