On Monday, NASCAR dropped the preliminary entry list for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. On the list are 37 entries.
Among the 37 entries are the 36 Chartered teams in the NASCAR Cup Series, including this past week's winner Chris Buescher who returns in the No. 17 RFK Racing Ford Mustang. This week, Castrol Edge will serve as the primary sponsor for Buescher and the No. 17 group.
The lone non-chartered team on the entry list is the No. 62 Beard Motorsports team, which runs part-time in the series. Austin Hill, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Richard Childress Racing, will run the No. 62 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with sponsorship from Bennett Transportation.
Other notable entries include JJ Yeley in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang, Cole Custer in the No. 51 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang, and Josh Bilicki in the No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
