Carvana unveiled its Daytona 500 paint scheme for Jimmie Johnson on Thursday, confirming the seven-time NASCAR Cup Champion's bid to enter the 2026 edition of "The Great American Race."
Johnson, the owner of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, will field the team's No. 84 Carvana Toyota in the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 15, 2026.
The California native competed full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series between 2002 and 2020. After spending two seasons in the NTT IndyCar Series, Johnson returned as a part-time NASCAR Cup Series competitor in 2023.

Carvana has been partnered with Johnson since his foray into IndyCar. The 2026 Daytona 500 scheme combining Carvana's signature blue with neon accents reminiscent of Johnson's past NASCAR successes, including two Daytona 500 victories in 2006 and 2013.
“Carvana has been an incredible partner, and every season we’ve found new ways to celebrate what makes racing so special,” said Johnson. “This year’s scheme is sharp, it’s fresh, and I can’t wait for fans to see it on the track in Daytona.”
“We’ve shared an incredible journey with Jimmie and we’re excited for what’s ahead in our fifth year of partnership this season,” said Ryan Keeton, Carvana co-founder and Chief Brand Officer. “Jimmie’s drive, energy, and authenticity always inspire us, and we can’t wait to see him take to the track at Daytona with this brand new design, marking another exciting chapter in our story together.”
Johnson made his 700th career NASCAR Cup Series start during the 2025 season in the Coca-Cola 600. Last year, Johnson finished third in the Daytona 500, his best finish since returning to NASCAR Cup Series competition.
The 50-year-old driver is an 83-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner, placing him in a tie for sixth on the series' all-time wins list with fellow NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Cale Yarborough. Johnson is also tied with Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty for most NASCAR Cup Series championships, with seven titles apiece.
Johnson has also confirmed he will compete in the NASCAR San Diego Weekend, scheduled for June 19-21 at Naval Base Coronado. That event serves as a homecoming for Johnson, a native of El Cajon, California. Carvana is also supporting Johnson's bid in the Anduril 250 at Naval Base Coronado.
