Carson Hocevar to Drive LEGACY MOTOR CLUB No. 42 at Darlington

After a career-best 11th-place result in Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series event at Bristol, Carson Hocevar has been tapped to return to the No. 42 Chevrolet for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB in an additional two events.
Hocevar, a championship contender in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will get back behind the wheel of the Sunseeker Resorts-sponsored entry at Texas Motor Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway.
The 20-year-old driver has served as the interim driver of the No. 42 Chevrolet for the last three events at Darlington, Kansas, and Bristol, scoring three finishes inside the top-20.
A native of Portage, Michigan, Hocevar has made starts across all three of NASCAR's National Divisions in 2023, including four starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Spire Motorsports, where he's notched two top-10 results.
Earlier in the season, Hocevar scored his first-ever victory in the NASCAR Truck Series at Texas Motor Speedway, and has since followed it up with a pair of victories at Nashville Superspeedway and Richmond Raceway.
After the first of three events in the 'Round of 8', Hocevar sits third-place in NASCAR Truck Series point standings with Niece Motorsports, the team he's established his impressive resume within the series.
