For the third consecutive season, LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is partnering with Bommarito Automotive Group, Missouri’s highest-rated automotive group, for the NASCAR Cup Series event at WWT Raceway on June 2.

The brand, which has been a long-time supporter of WWT Raceway, will partner with John Hunter Nemechek, a former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series winner at the 1.25-mile racetrack, serving as the primary sponsor of the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE.

“It’s an honor to be able to represent at Bommarito Automotive Group brand at World Wide Technology Raceway for the NASCAR Cup Series race,” said Nemechek, driver of the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE. “Having won a race at World Wide Technology Raceway in the past, this is an event that I have had circled on my calendar all season. Everyone at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and I are hoping to be able to put together a strong showing and make everyone at Bommarito Automotive Group proud.”

Founded more than 50 years ago by Frank Bommarito as a single-point Oldsmobile dealer, Bommarito Automotive Group is now the No. 1 automotive group in Missouri and ranked among the top 50 in the nation. “We’re passionate about racing and proud to be partners for the third continuous year with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB,” said Chuck Wallis, Vice President of Bommarito Automotive Group.

Bommarito continues to work in conjunction with CLUB Ambassador Richard Petty “The King” to grow awareness of world-class racing in the St. Louis and Illinois region.

In each of the NASCAR Cup Series’ first two visits to WWT Raceway, Bommarito Automotive Group has partnered with what is now LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, sponsoring Erik Jones and the No. 43 both times.

Breaking onto the motorsports scene in 2015, Bommarito Automotive Group is a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series (LEGACY MOTOR CLUB), NASCAR Xfinity Series (Jordan Anderson Racing), and NASCAR Truck Series (ThorSport Racing), as well as IndyCar and IMSA.

Nemechek has had some success at the St. Louis, Missouri-based racetrack, winning the 2017 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, one of seven starts the Mooresville, North Carolina native has made at WWT Raceway. However, the June 2 event will mark his first Cup start.
