THE RACE OF CHAMPIONS COMES TO THOMPSON

The 75th Race of Champions 150 headlines Saturday's broadcast coverage from Thompson. One of the longest-running events in short track racing, the Race of Champions has a lineage dating back to 1951. Thompson joins a storied list of venues for the race, including Langhorne Speedway, Trenton Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Flemington Speedway, Oswego Speedway, Chemung Speedrome and Lake Erie Speedway.

Lake Erie hosted the event between 2018 and earlier this year, when the 72nd Race of Champions was successfully made up and won by Jake Lutz. Thompson has long been a mecca of Modified racing, making it a fitting venue to host the Race of Champions.

As it has been all season long, RacingAmerica.TV is your home for the Race of Champions Modified Series. Tune in on Saturday to see the season finale and the tour's namesake event. on the grand stage of the Sunoco World Series

WEEKEND FULL OF RACING

Over the course of three days, fans on RacingAmerica.TV will be treated to 18 feature races during the Sunoco World Series. That's not including the heat races for many of those divisions to set their respective fields to start each program.

Thompson's Outlaw Open Modifieds take center stage on Friday, October 10 with the Sunoco Race Fuels Dash for Cash. Many of the Modified competitors who will race the rest of the weekend will hope to start their World Series with a win in the 50-lapper on Friday.

The Thompson Sunoco Modifieds will be in action all three days of the World Series. That division will race for 30 laps on Friday and Saturday before the Sunoco Modified Clash on Sunday. Sunday's Sunoco Modified Clash will pit the Thompson Sunoco Modifieds, with the ruleset utilized by the track since 2024 featuring a 604-bottle cap crate engine, against the more traditional Sunoco Modifieds, still contested at local tracks such as Stafford and Waterford.

Friday's racing also includes the R&R Street Stocks, the Late Model Fall Showdown Feature, Mini Stocks, Thunderstock Crown Vics, and STAR Vintage Late Models and Modifieds. Fans can watch the Pro-4 Modified Harry Kourafas Memorial on Saturday, along with the New England Supermodified Series, the Pro Truck Challenge, Street Stocks and the Thunderstock Crown Vics.

Finally, SK Lights and NEMA Lites join the Sunoco Modified Clash on Sunday's RacingAmerica.TV coverage for subscribers from Thompson.
