Race of Champions “Family of Series” to Return to Shangri-La II Speedway in 2026

Race of Champions management, along with Ray Hodge and Shangri-La II Speedway management, is pleased to announce that the Race of Champions “Family of Series” will return to Shangri-La II Speedway during the 2026 season with four (4) events scheduled at the Owego, NY facility.

The first visit will feature a traditional Race of Champions event, the Rod Spalding Classic, at a new venue. “The Day Before the Glen” will take place Saturday, May 9, at Shangri-La II Speedway. Additional event dates include Saturday, July 25; Saturday, August 22; and a season-ending weekend on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.

2026 Race of Champions “Family of Series” Events at Shangri-La II Speedway Will Include:

• Three (3) Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series events
• Two (2) Race of Champions Modified Series events
• Traditional appearances by the Race of Champions Super Stock Series, Race of Champions FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series, and Race of Champions Late Model Series

Full division schedules for the Race of Champions “Family of Series” will be released in the near future.
