Modifieds of Mayhem Tour Prepares for Gulf Coast Doubleheader

After Mother Nature intervened in May, the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour is prepared for a Gulf Coast doubleheader weekend on June 27-28 at Five Flags Speedway and Mobile International Speedway.

More than 20 competitors are entered for the weekend of Modifieds of Mayhem Tour action along the Gulf Coast. The Modifieds take part in Friday's six-division lineup at Five Flags before heading to Mobile on Saturday.

Kevin Peel won the season opener for the series at Montgomery Motor Speedway in March. Thanks to the May postponement, the Modifieds of Mayhem have been patiently waiting until this weekend to get back on track.

Theodore Recycling has posted a $500 bonus for this weekend's Gulf Coast doubleheader. The driver with the best average finish across both races will earn the $500 award.

Jeff Letson won the first of three Modifieds of Mayhem Tour events in 2024 at Five Flags Speedway. Cody Stickler won the other two races, including the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour season finale during the weekend of the 57th Annual Snowball Derby.

Mobile returned to the Modifieds of Mayhem schedule in 2023 following a four-year hiatus. Cody Stickler won the 2023 visit for the series at Mobile, while Jaxon Bishop claimed the win last year.

Feature racing begins at 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET on Friday night at Five Flags Speedway. The Modifieds of Mayhem Tour joins the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series, the Samson Performance and Restoration Legacy Series, Outlaws, Sportsman and Crown Stocks on Friday's lineup.

The green flag waves at 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET on Saturday at Mobile. Pro Trucks and Crown Stocks will be in action on Saturday, along with the Modifieds of Mayhem and the Samson Performance and Restoration Legacy Series.
