Pro4 Modifieds of New England along with Cris Michaud and the American-Canadian Tour have scheduled a memorial race on October 29 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl for the founder of the Mini-Modifieds/Pro4s that began 52 years ago.
Dan Meservey passed away February 7, 2022 after a short illness.
Dan always was smiling at any race track you saw him at. He would sit and talk with with anyone in the pits/stands. He spearheaded the Pro4 division. He once said, “Racing in this division has allowed me to stay married to my beautiful wife all these years and not make me go broke." He had races all over the country - Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and occasional races as far as Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, New Jersey and Canada. The Pro4s had groups running all over the East of the Mississippi.
Dan has touched many racers over his life. There are many stories, laughs, victories to remember. We ask past and present friends and competitors come to this event to reminisce of his great accomplishments. A large field of cars are expected along with many Meservey drivers in this memorial race young and old.
