Throwback Thursday: New Year's Bash to the Past and More

More than 30 entires have been filed for the first race of the Wheel Man Sportsman Series season, taking place Saturday, January 8 at Auburndale Speedway.
The event marks the beginning of an eight-race schedule planned for the series, with the main event slated for 75 laps and a $2,500 payout to the winner. The Wheel Man Series has proven to be popular for competitors and fans alike as a more affordable touring series with competitive racing and strong car counts since its inception in 2016.

Racing will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. Along with the Wheel Man Series, fans will get to see Auburndale's Legends, Pure Stocks, Scramblers and A-Mods in action.
A total of 32 drivers have pre-entered Saturday's Wheel Man Series event at Auburndale Speedway. Among the entrants are former Wheel Man race winners Brandon Morris, Brooke Storer, Aaron Williamson, Jake Perkins, Tyler Scofield, Chad Rutherford and L.J. Grimm.
