Entering its 52nd year Oxford 250 has a storied history in the short track racing landscape. The event has been contested under a variety of series over the years and was even part of the NASCAR Busch Series (now NASCAR Xfinity Series) schedule five times between 1986 and 1991. Past winners of the event include Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Geoff Bodine and Ricky Craven.
Last year, nine-time track champion Jeff Taylor scored his elusive first Oxford 250 win, holding off Bubba Pollard in the closing laps for the victory.
