On September 5-6, Cordele Motor Speedway's Super Fest continues with the Georgia Summer Nationals. This will be a big weekend for Super Late Model competitors, both for the money on the line in the Summer Nationals and its impact on the World Crown 300.
As outlined at the start of the season, drivers who take part in the World Crown 300 will be rewarded for their participation in Super Fest races during the 2025 campaign at Cordele Motor Speedway. Scheduled for October 24-25, the World Crown 300 pays $35,000 to win. However, the winner will also receive an additional $3,750 for each Super Fest race they raced in throughout the year.
Similarly, the runner-up in the World Crown 300 will receive an extra $2,000 for every Super Fest appearance, with third-place receiving a $1,000 bonus per Super Fest start. All other starters in the 26-car World Crown field will receive $500 per Super Fest race.
That brings us to the Georgia Summer Nationals, with a doubleheader weekend on September 5-6. The ASA Southern Super Series is sanctioning the doubleheader as a non-points event for the series. However, taking part in both races promises, at minimum, an extra $1,000 (and as much as $7,500) in bonus money if those drivers return for the World Crown 300.
The Georgia Summer Nationals also boast an impressive purse. The 75-lap Super Late Model feature on Friday, September 5 will pay $7,500 to win, while the 125-lap Super Fest feature on Saturday, September 6 pays $10,000 to the winner. That brings the potential payout on the weekend to $17,500 if a driver can sweep the weekend.
Bubba Pollard won the first Super Fest event of the season earlier this year. He also won the Super Late Model feature during SpeedFest at Cordele in January, his fourth consecutive victory in the event.
