Thompson Icebreaker Schedule and Event Info
After a week's delay due to Mother Nature, the Thompson Icebreaker takes place on April 7-8.
A tradition unlike any other in the Northeast racing scene, the 49th Thompson Icebreaker Weekend takes place on April 7-8 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.
Headlined by the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models and the Icebreaker 125 for the Thompson Outlaw Open Modifieds on Saturday, there will be 11 feature races across two days at the historic Connecticut facility.
Friday's racing includes Sunoco Modifieds, the Evolve Bank and Mortgage Pro Trucks, Late Models, the Mighty Mini Stock Series and Open Street Stocks. Heat racing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET.
Saturday's heat racing begins at 3 p.m. The Limited Sportsman, PASS Super Late Models, SK Light Modifieds, Sunoco Modifieds and Mini Stocks will all take the track before the Icebreaker 125 for the Open Modifieds.
