With rain continuing to hinder the efforts of race tracks across the region, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is set to put the spring showers behind them with a return to Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl this Sunday afternoon for the 27th Community Bank, n.a. 150. Originally scheduled for the beginning of May, the 27th Bank Race is now set this Sunday, June 1 with a 2:00pm Post Time as the invading Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teamsters take on the local Maplefields/Irving Late Model talent!

After finally getting the lid lifted on season sixty-six last Sunday, the Nation’s Site of Excitement is ready for a second Sunday of exciting action! Hot to trot following the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic, defending Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour champion Gabe Brown charged up through the field from dead last on the 33-car starting grid to ninth in 125 laps. With an extra twenty-five circuits this week, it’s yet to be seen if Brown can bring the Bolt Depot Chevy to Thunder Road victory lane this time around!

Alongside Brown, fellow Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour stars Erick Sands and Jesse Switser took a chance for some extra practice before the Tour race, as did former ACT champion Jimmy Hebert and defending Thunder Road King of the Road Kaiden Fisher. All four will dig deep this coming Sunday as well for a chance at the $5,000 prize waiting in the Community Bank Winner’s Circle.

After two weeks away, other Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour stars are also ready to return to the Quarry Hill highbanks with D.J. Shaw, Derek Gluchacki, Raphael Lessard and Jimmy Renfrew Jr. leading a strong touring contingent to battle the home guard. In similar fashion, former three-time King of the Road Scott Dragon came from 23rd on the grid to finish third just four days ago behind fellow three-peat champ Jason Corliss. Both are expected to be in the hunt for the Community Bank crown on Sunday.

Fellow former track champions Bobby Therrien, Chris Pelkey and Stephen Donahue will also be in the hunt, as is defending Vermont Milk Bowl champion Marcel Gravel. White Mountain Motorsports Park champions Tanner Woodard and Kasey Beattie, Claremont’s multi-time champ Aaron Fellows and Hudson Speedway champion Cole Littlewood are also set to return. A Quebec contingent including Alexendre Tardif, Remi Perreault, Jonathan Bouvrette and Sebastian Couture are also set to make the trip south.

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns home to the famed Thunder Road International Speedbowl this Sunday, June 1 for the rain-delayed Community Bank 150. Alongside the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will be the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors for a second exciting Sunday on the highbanks! Post Time is set for 2:00pm with the annual Class Day festivities beginning at 1:30pm to honor the champions from 2024 and look forward to the rest of 2025!
