The entry list is officially locked in, and a formidable 20-car field is headed to the historic 5/8-mile high banks of Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway this Thursday night, May 28th, for the highly anticipated Rackley Roofing Battle of Broadway 150.

The premier midweek showdown features a classic short-track turf war, pitting elite regional invaders against a deeply talented roster of Nashville’s local Pro Late Model heroes. With the eyes of the motorsports world turning to Middle Tennessee this weekend, Thursday night’s headliner promises intense, door-to-door drama right in the heart of Music City.

Craig Eyes History; Local Giants Ready to Defend Home Turf

All eyes will naturally be drawn to Louisville, Kentucky’s Trey Craig (No. 15), who enters the weekend carrying a massive target on his back. Craig is chasing an unprecedented “three-peat” after dominating the high banks to win both the 2024 and 2025 editions of this event.

However, a stacked contingent of local standouts is ready to end his reign and keep the trophy in Tennessee:

  • Jackson Boone (No. 7): Current Points leader, the Franklin, TN native and perennial frontrunner brings his Boiler Warehouse/Armstrong Chevrolet back to the Fairgrounds with victory squarely on his mind.
  • Hunter Wright (No. 29): Coming off a spectacular run of momentum, the Lebanon, TN driver will pilot the heavily sponsored 31-W Insulation/Bass Tire Chevrolet as a top-tier threat for the checkered flag.
  • Dawson Sutton (No. 26): Representing Lebanon, TN, Sutton rolls in with backing from race-sponsor Rackley Roofing and Mobley Speed, looking to capture another hometown win.
  • The Nashville Veterans: Fan favorites like Clarksville’s Mark Day (No. 8), Antioch’s Daniel Bolden (No. 09), and Nashville’s own Oliver Cordell (No. 17) provide a deep line of defense against outside invaders.
Regional Outsiders Look to Steal the Spotlight

The battle format is intensified by hungry out-of-state contenders looking to crash the party, including Floyds Knobs, Indiana’s Brett Robinson (No. 5) in a sleek Toyota entry, Memphis native Cole Williams (No. 46), and Mooresville, North Carolina’s Anthony Bello (No. 51). Adding to the geographic diversity, Weston Marthaler (No. 100) is making the trip with FHR to test his mettle on the legendary Nashville high banks.
