Seth Christensen returned to victory lane at Five Flags Speedway on Friday night, picking up a big Wildcard win towards the Kulwicki Driver Development Program.

The Pendergrass, Georgia native declared Friday's Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series event as one of his "Wildcard" races for the season, earning him double points in the pursuit of the Kulwicki Cup. Christensen took full advantage of the opportunity, leading all 100 laps of the feature to score the win.

"We unloaded super fast this weekend," said Christensen in victory lane. "Super cool to get a Kulwicki Driver Development Program Wildcard win. That's going to be good for the points here coming into the third segment. Huge thanks to JC Motorsports. Unbelievable car. It was so good all weekend."

One year ago, Christensen won two of the four Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series events on the Road to the Snowflake. It took until the third race of 2025 for him to return to victory lane, but he hopes to continue this momentum on Night of Champions in September.

"Last year, having so much success here, brand new team, by the way, so super cool to get JC Motorsports' first win here at Pensacola. We're going to carry our momentum onto the September race, and we'll be back.

"We had a pretty good expectation coming into the weekend, just working in the shop every day with Mr. Alex. It's been super cool to learn all the things from him. It really, really felt like this was going to be the weekend."

Colin Allman chased down Christensen in the closing laps, applying pressure to the young Georgia driver. Allman settled for a second-place finish, but given his recent performances at the Pensacola, Florida half-mile, he was plenty excited.

"It's a huge run for us," said Allman. "We've struggled up here. We finished third in the 2021 [Snowflake], and ever since then, we've been a fifth to 10th place car most races. Tonight, when we fired off, I felt like we were going to be really good. We were really good in the long run. Seth just had a little bit more turn there on that short run, the 20-lapper. He just had a little bit more turn than we did.

"Long run, I couldn't complain about this thing, man. I think that long run there, we were clicking off times fastest on the racetrack. I can't thank my dad enough and my buddy Jacoby. It was just us three this weekend, and it's tough, but huge thank you also to Toby Nuttleman. Talked to him this morning about a couple of things to try on this thing, and it worked."

Less excited was Jake Finch, who finished third. After setting fast time in qualifying, Finch rolled a "two" during the pre-race dice roll for the invert, placing him outside Christensen on the front row.

Finch held on to second until Allman passed him with 18 laps to go.

"I think we got two poles and inverted to second both times," said Finch. "If you can't tell, the outside doesn't have much grip up there. The invert and me have got some problems. I just need to get to the dice table and work on my dice rolling technique, I guess."

Dylan Fetcho finished fourth, with Dustin Smith rounding out the top five.

The Deep South Crane Blizzard Series and Allen Turner Pro Late Model Series conclude their seasons on September 27 at Five Flags Speedway on Night of Champions #2. Local divisions will crown their track champions one week prior on September 20.
