The Rumble By The River 125 at Montgomery Motor Speedway has been postponed two weeks to April 29 due to inclement weather.

With rain and thunderstorms arriving shortly after the conclusion of ASA Southern Super Series practice and forecasted to continue in the Montgomery area through Saturday night into Sunday morning, series officials made the decision to postpone Saturday’s event until Saturday, April 29.

The Southern Super Series event joins Montgomery’s Show Me The Money Pro Late Model Series on the April 29 race card, creating a Late Model doubleheader at the Alabama half-mile. Late Model Sportsmen and Street Stocks will also be part of the April 29 program.

The Rumble By The River remains the next event on the Southern Super Series schedule. The event precedes a three-race stretch in North Carolina for the tour, featuring the Tar Heel 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway in conjunction with the ASA STARS National Tour and the North Carolina Doubleheader on June 22 and 24 at Southern National Motorsports Park and Carteret County Speedway.
