Entering the final night of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing with a 22-point lead in the Super Late Model division, Casey Roderick has made it clear he wants to end the nine nights of racing on a high note.
Roderick clocked in at 17.704 seconds, narrowly edging out Bubba Pollard for fast time in qualifying for the Orange Blossom 100. The 100-lap race marks the finale for the Super Late Models at the World Series.
William Sawalich and Gio Ruggiero qualified third and fourth in their Wilson Motorsports machines, while Stephen Nasse rounded out the top five.
Earlier this week in the Clyde Hart Memorial 100, Pollard, Sawalich and Nasse were all in contention for the win but suffered a variety of mechanical issues. Instead, NASCAR Cup Series driver William Byron picked up the win.
Florida Modifieds, Pro Trucks, Mod Minis, Super Stocks and Bomber B will also be on Saturday night's card to close out the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. The green flag will drop on the first feature at 7:30 p.m. ET.
