CONCORD, N.C. (March 11, 2022) – Racing America will broadcast the Solid Rock Carriers Late Model Big Money Series from Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway in 2022, culminating with the Solid Rock Carriers Race of Champions on December 10-11.

Throughout the 2022 season, the Big Money Series will pay out more than $100,000, including $10,000 to the Big Money Series champion at season’s end.

The season will begin with the Solid Rock Carriers JumpStart 125, offering $10,000 to win and $1,000 to start for Late Model competitors on April 2.

"It's great to be partnering with Racing America and have them on hand for every single Solid Rock Carriers Late Model Big Money Series,” said Carteret County Speedway owner Bob Lowery. “We're excited to drop the green flag for the Solid Rock Carriers JumpStart 125 on April 2nd and we are so excited for fans to join us at the track and now nationwide thanks to Racing America. We want to thank everyone at Racing America for giving us the opportunity to showcase America's Nicest Short Track to the world."

The vision and inspiration of the late Bobby Watson, Carteret County Speedway opened in 2015. The Swansboro, North Carolina facility’s 4/10-mile oval features eight degrees of banking in the corners and four degrees of banking on the straightaways.

The track is located just miles from Emerald Isle, North Carolina, making it a getaway destination for fans and teams alike to enjoy the beach and the races in one trip.
