"We are excited to kick off the 2024 season with the Rattler and invite everyone to join us in March at South Alabama Speedway,” said John Dykes, owner of South Alabama Speedway. “Racing America has been a great partner of ours for over a decade and we look forward to the great coverage they will provide to fans throughout the country."

“Racing America and the Rattler 250 weekend make a great match for our pavement racing fans and subscribers,” said Colin Smith, President of Racing America. “We are thrilled to be able to continue our relationship with South Alabama Speedway and bring this great weekend of late model racing to fans across the country.”

The Rattler 250 weekend is headlined by the 250-lap SRL National Super Late Model Series event. The weekend also includes the Grasshopper 125 presented by JR'S Lawn Mower Shop and powered by Rogers-Dabbs Chevrolet Performance Parts for Pro Late Models.

One of the biggest spring events of the year for Super Late Models, the Rattler 250 traditionally draws a star-studded field to South Alabama Speedway. Last year, Bubba Pollard outdueled Ty Majeski for his second career Rattler win.

The 48th Hardees Rattler 250 is scheduled for March 15-17, 2024 at South Alabama Speedway. The 4/10 mile oval is located on Highway 52 between Opp and Kinston. For more information, follow the track on Facebook or visit www.SouthAlabamaSpeedway.com.
